Snell Shores On September 15, 2010 Snell Shores Circle of the St. Petersburg Garden Club was awarded "Volunteer, Shining Star, City of St. Petersburg".  Rose Garden Volunteers for Outstanding Community Service.  Alice Beasor Jackson accepted the award.  32 years of caring for the garden. Snell Shores-Members spend many hours maintaining the Helen Holland Rose Garden. Volunteers are very civic minded and members can be found serving at the Dali Museum, the Historical Museum, St. Anthony's Hospital and the museum of Fine Arts. One member takes care of the gardens year-round.
