Girl Scout Badges
is pairing up with local scout troops to assist them in completing the requirements for two horticultural badges. The first
is the “Florida Native Plants” badge, sponsored by the National Garden Club. The second is a troop gardening
badge. Cathy Holtzwart is working with the troop that meets at St. Jude. Master Gardeners are needed to assist with
native plant identification. If you would like to assist please contact the committee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Registration is now open on-line for campers at www.wekivayouthcamp.org.
We are hoping to send at least eight campers on scholarships this year.
