Girl Scout Badges

Our club is pairing up with local scout troops to assist them in completing the requirements for two horticultural badges. The first is the “Florida Native Plants” badge, sponsored by the National Garden Club.  The second is a troop gardening badge. Cathy Holtzwart is working with the troop that meets at St. Jude.  Master Gardeners are needed to assist with native plant identification.  If you would like to assist please contact the committee at

Wekiva Youth Camp

The Wekiva Youth Camp is an environmental education program begun in 1959 as a Junior Nature Camp where garden club volunteers helped to instill a love, concern, and desire to protect the flora and fauna of our beautiful state of Florida.
